In the recent period, US National Court and President Donald Trump have come up with two crucial terms with two crucial trade partners with the US. The first thing that rocked the headlines was the decision to restrict or completely ban the use of Huawei technologies as to imposing threats of espionage and Trump has struck another deal that could affect the businesses and consumers of Uthe S. What is Known About the Deal?

In regards to the US not imposing trade tariffs, Mexican officials agreed with Trump that they will put effort to curb the number of migrants into the United States.

But it seemed that the US did not receive what it originally wanted and it was that Mexico takes care of the trespassing migrants, not the US.

In the deal the US agreed to expand its efforts to return the migrants to Mexico soil whilst their claims are being reviewed and in return, the US will try to accelerate the rate at which the claims are being reviewed.

Mexico agreed to strengthen its border security by sending 6000 troops to the border with Guatemala and to take action against human smuggling networks.

Both nations pledged to strengthen their efforts in working together to increase border security including information sharing and coordinated actions.

The situation on the US and Mexico Border

After Trump took the office the border detention rate was the lowest in the decade and ever since then the amount has increased. Recently US Customs and Border Protection announced that May of 2019 had the highest rate of detentions in 10 years – 132,887 arrests.
