There are a lot of painting software out there on the internet, but they can hurt your wallet so that’s why it is useful to know some of the free tools that internet is offering to us.

INKSCAPE

Inkscape can be used to create or edit vector graphics, such as illustrations, diagrams, line art, diagrams, logos, and sophisticated paintings. Inkscape’s primary vector graphics format is Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG); however, many other formats can be imported and exported.

Inkscape can make primitive vector shapes (such as rectangles, ellipses, polygons, bows, spirals, stars and 3D boxes) and text. These objects can be filled with solid colors, patterns, radial or linear color gradients, and their borders can be crossed, both with adjustable transparency. Also included is raster graphics inclusion and optional tracking that allows the editor to create vector graphics from photos and other raster sources. The resulting shapes can be further manipulated by transformations such as moving, rotating, scaling, and skewing.

VECTR

Different platforms have several vector editors for different platforms. Potential users of these editors will make a decision based on factors such as user platform availability, software license, feature set, user interface benefits, and program focus. Some programs are more suitable for artistic work, while others are better for technical drawings. Another important factor is the support for import and export of various vector and bitmap image formats.

MICROSOFT EXPRESSION DESIGN 4

Microsoft Expression Design was a Microsoft commercial professional illustration vector and raster graphic design tool for web images based on Creature House Expression, which was purchased by Microsoft in 2003. It is available free of charge from Microsoft and is part of a discontinued Microsoft Expression Studio suite. Expression Design is more focused on editing XAML and web graphics than on printed graphics (such as Photoshop and Illustrator) and does not include all of the original Creature House Expression raster image editing features.
