Lake House (2006)

They were separated not by distance, but by 2 years, living in one place, they could not meet due to the time difference, because letters written in 2006 were mysteriously sent in 2004.
The role of Alex went to Keanu, and the girl Kate was played by Sandra Bullock. American critics did not like the inconsistency of the plot and inconsistencies in the story, but the audience did not care. The painting “House by the Lake” turned out to be successful, with a budget of 40 million, it raised 114 million. Reeves did an excellent job of his role and was able to express the whole gamut of feelings of his hero, as if he was not playing, but was experiencing this story himself.
