In 2012, he was repeatedly convicted of storing drugs, for which the guy could face a real term. He refused to admit his guilt, for which he was sentenced to 5 years. The term was nevertheless then reduced to 2 years. When he got out of prison, he joined his friends, who had already begun to take their first steps in the music field.

The guy has always been attracted to street music and hip-hop. Together with friends, they created the music label “Quality Control”. Dominic began work on his first musical composition. A few months later his first song “Perfect Timing” was released. The track did not make it to the music charts, but it was well-received by the public. In Georgia, the guy became a local celebrity. A few more songs were still passing, but the track “Drip Harder” took the 4th position in the main charts of the USA, and became a real breakthrough.
Now he gives many concerts, prefers sports style in clothes, loves massive jewelry, and is fond of cars.

A place in his work is also given to his illegal activities. The guy talks very sincerely about his problems and experiences of that period of his life. Now he understands that games with drugs and easy money are becoming a trap that cripples tens and hundreds of human lives.
He regrets his past, that he went to prison, and that he will have to bear the stigma of being a criminal for the rest of his life. The main goal of his work chose that he is obliged to show the world how difficult it is for ordinary black guys from poor neighborhoods.
Debut album and further success
On May 18, 2018, the first album Harder Than Ever was released. The audience and critics received it well. Moreover, it took the third position on the Billboard 200. The most popular songs on the album were Southside and Yes Indeed, recorded with Drake.
The last composition took the 6th position on the Billboard Hot 100. In total, the collection included 17 tracks, and then even more. The Recording Industry Association of America named the debut album platinum. Then new songs came out, there were collaborations with celebrities, and he received recognition.
The next album, My Turn, was released on February 28, 2020. Lil Wayne, Young Thug, Gunna, and other iconic rap artists took part in its creation. The album received great reviews and reached the top spot on the Billboard 200.
In June of the same year, the track The Bigger Picture was released. It earned a bonus on the album and peaked at # 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.
