Probably 17-year-old Kylie, who at that time was already very popular on Instagram, thus tried to predict the collapse of her business idea, so she did not decide on more colors. However, thanks to advertising on social networks, she managed to sell the entire batch within thirty seconds after the official start of sales. Even then, experts began to predict the frantic earnings of the “golden child” of the Kardashian family. According to their calculations, it ranged from 50 to 300 million dollars.

However, it was then, during the registration of the trademark called Kylie, that the rising star had to face the first problem. Pop singer Kylie Minogue, twice her age, was also the owner of the brand with the same name, for which she filed a lawsuit against her rival. Then the young businesswoman changed her name to Kylie Cosmetics because the 51-year-old Australian claimed that her namesake Jenner could ruin her image with such a trick. However, after the frenzied success of the young rival, she noted that it was thanks to her that her name and brand were talked about all over the world. But for young Kylie, such an obstacle turned into a motivation to become even better in her field.

As it turned out later, in 18 months Kylie Jenner earned 420 million dollars on the sale of lipsticks. Such large amounts of earnings are impressive because even old-time brands have made about the same amount over the decades in the market. For example, representatives of the cosmetic line of the Tom Ford Beauty brand recently admitted that at last, after 10 years on the market, they managed to reach the figure of $ 500 million.

In 2016, Kylie decided to merge her Kylie Lip Kits brand with the company, making it part of the Kylie Cosmetics brand. And already by Valentine’s Day, the young businessman has released a new collection with an updated tint line. 5,000 copies of each color went on sale, that is, the total number was 15 thousand. However, after three months, Kylie Jenner increased production, releasing a new batch of 500 thousand!

In February 2018, the young entrepreneur became a mother for the first time, which again added to the volume of her name. She and her boyfriend Travis Scott had a daughter.
