Brought into the world on February fourteenth, 1942, Michael Bloomberg was a previous chairman of New York City. He was born in Massachusetts’s Boston. Early life

His father, William Henry Bloomberg, passed away in 1963. He was an accountant. His mom was Charlotte Bloomberg. In 2011, she also passed away. Bloomberg was an alum of Johns Hopkins College. Education

He reached new heights in 1973 when he managed to become one of the bank’s official partners. Sadly, Bloomberg left when Phibro Corporation purchased the Wall Street bank in 1981. He received a severance package of $10 million, which was good news for him. In 1982, he proceeded to shape his firm and turned into the President. His business provided financial services.  Thus, he chose to switch vocations and passed on his presidential job in his organisation to wander into legislative issues.

Mayor of New York City

Michael Bloomberg won the mayoral election in 2002 thanks to this level of recognition. He became the 108th Mayor of New York City after winning this election. The establishment of the 311 telephone line was his most significant accomplishment while serving as mayor.
