Three-time OVW Champion, winner of WWE Championship only five months after his debut, making himself the youngest champion in the history of WWE Championship tournament and all that only at the age of 25.

After all that success, he decided to pursue a career in UFC as he signed with them in October 2007 and everyone was expecting Brock to do great there as well because you can’t be a bad fighter with such achievements, right?
The Shaky Start and The Fast Bounce Back
As you may know, Brock Lesnar lost his debut fight in the UFC to Frank Mir but then he bounced back fast in the next two fights and won the UFC Heavyweight Championship from Randy Couture.
But then, the next fight, or in other words the rematch against Frank Mir brought some problems for Lesnar, don’t get me wrong, the man did win the fight but after it, he got sidelined because of a disease and that’s where his problems in the UFC started.
Reason #1
Disease. The disease he was suffering from was diverticulitis.
Even though he underwent surgery and after surgery, he was looking okay and fought in the UFC. He retired from it soon for some time to return to the WWE and WrestleMania XXX and managed to become a world champion not once, not twice, but three times!
Facts like those might make you think that it isn’t the reason then, but it’s possible it could’ve left some health effects on Brock Lesnar that maybe made him take some supplements or substances.
And that brings us to the 2nd reason.
Reason #2
Recalling what I concluded about the 1st reason, writing about Brock Lesnar taking supplements or substances can be true.
Why?
Because Lesnar after the fight with Mark Hunt tested positive for clomiphene – a banned substance by the UFC.
What happened next is pretty obvious – he got suspended from the UFC and got fined $250,000, well… maybe not the part about the fine.
And those are the reasons why Brock’s career in the UFC ended.
