UFC fighter Jordan Johnson with a flawless record in UFC fights seemed like a star on the rise, but after the end of his UFC contract, he surprised everyone by not staying in the UFC league but signing a contract with the PFL.
It is rather surprising that someone would switch from a predominant league to a lesser one, but Jordan Johnson had his very own reasons for doing that and he explained that very clearly to everyone.

The Reason Why Jordan Johnson Signed With PFL
In the interviews, Jordan Johnson stated that he has no grudge towards the UFC and the last thing he wants to do is to lose ties with UFC, but regarding his financial situation, he decided that sign a contract with the PFL would benefit him very well.
In his career whilst under the contract with the UFC over the period of 2 years he only had 4 fights in total from which all of them he came on top with a win, he is expecting that PFL will grant him a larger amount of fights than UFC provided him with.
Jordans Plans for the Future in PFL
If he can prove his strength in fights that PFL provides him with, he is guaranteed to receive a seven-figure paycheck and he is very pleased with that offer.
One additional thing that intrigued Jordan Johnson about PFL was the tournament-style format where winning is the only thing that matters to him.
So his goal from now on is to just win in every fight that PFL provides him with and move up the ranks in the playoffs in the end competing for the $1 million grand prize at the end of the year in December.
