What we can expect from Dwayne Johnson’s upcoming movies<\/strong>

We can expect a lot of action from actors in upcoming movies. There will be a lot of fiction movies and even some of them will include superheroes.\u00a0
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The actor’s year started with a movie called \u201cFighting with my family\u201d, the story is about a family who lives in England and they all are wrestlers – both parents and their son and daughter. Both kids dream of joining World Wrestling Entertainment. And of course, that\u2019s where The Rock comes in, he meets both kids at the tryouts. Dwayne Johnson only has a small part in the movie, but he got to play himself.\u00a0

Upcoming action movies<\/strong>
<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Fast & Furious spin-off is happening to star The Rock and Jason Statham. They will play two agents that team up to fight against a criminal mastermind called \u201cBrixton\u201d. Even actress Vanessa Kirby from \u201cThe Crown\u201d will join both actors in the movie as Statham’s on-screen sister.\u00a0
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back in 2017 movie Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle became a hit. And now there may be a sequel. All actors will join Dwayne in the second movie. 
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Continuing the jungle theme, Johnson will play the riverboat captain in the movie \u201cJungle Cruise\u201d. The movie is set during the Great Depression. The Rock as a riverboat captain takes two scientists, played by Emily Blunt and Jack Whitehall as brother and sister, on a dangerous jungle mission to find a mythical tree that has healing powers.\u00a0

Projects for the year 2020<\/strong>
<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Do you see Dwayne Johnson as a king? Well, he will be one in a movie called \u201cThe King.\u201d The actor will play King Kamehameha, he was the first ruler of the Kingdom of Hawaii. It is a great role for Johnson because he spent some of his teenage years in Hawaii.

\u201cI\u2019m humbled and grateful to begin this once and in lifetime journey. from the day I began my Hollywood career, my dream was to bring this legacy to life,\u201d told Johnson.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Movies in development<\/strong>
<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRed Notice\u201d is a movie about an Interpol agent who needs to capture the most wanted art thief in the world. Dwayne Johnson will play the Interpol agent together with Gal Gadot. 
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rock will play a doc in the movie \u201cDoc Savage.\u201d Doc is the world\u2019s first superhero who debuted back in 1933. The new movie will be set in the 1930s. There is no word on when this movie will go into production.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dwayne Johnson will be back for \u201cSan Andreas\u201d second movie. All of the previous cast members will be returning for second the movie. 
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBig Trouble In Little China\u201d a 1986 movie will have a new take and The Rock in the center. Johnson will also work as a producer. The movie will not be a remake, but more like a continuation of the original movie.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dwayne will become a DC Comics character, an ancient Egyptian villain. 
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the last movie where we know that Dawayne Johnson will star is called \u201cAlpha Squad Seven.\u201d It is a sci-fi action comedy set in space. There has been no news about this movie since 2015, but it seems that it might go on work.
