For which he received the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy in the musical ‘La La Land’ by Damien Chazelle.Collin praised his chemistry with co-star Emma Stone, writing: “The chemistry between both stars is so perfect that their lines just come out naturally” The film was also one of the most profitable for him earning over $440 worldwide on a $30 million budget. He ventured into big screen as an actor in the film ‘The Notebook (2004)’ a romantic drama film in which he depicted the character of Noah Calhoun thus making him one of the most popular male movie actors in Hollywood.

Drive (2011)

In the movie, Gosling played the role of an unnamed stunt driver in a car theft crime that went wrong and he was brilliant in the rigorous acting that he undertook. 

Blue Valentine (2010)

This showed that he can handle better parts which are not just dark and complicated than the typical romantic lead in this gritty drama with Michelle Williams. 

Blade Runner 2049 (2017) 

In this sci-fi movie sequel here Gosling played the role of Officer K and he was able to demonstrate that he can handle many players at a go.
