His interest in acting began in his youth

In the summer, he went to specialized camps, where he also trained to perform and honed his speech. The more he enjoyed the process, the faster it became clear that he had already made his career choice.
He has an excellent education
Talent, looks, charisma – it’s no surprise that Sebastian quickly achieved success in Hollywood. Nevertheless, the roles did not fall on his head – above all, he went a long way to get a quality education. After graduating from high school, Sebastian attended Rutgers University and earned a BA in acting.
While he was studying, he trained at the most famous British theater – Shakespeare’s Globe in London. And in between performances, he worked as a doorman in a cinema.
I worked at Cinema 6 in New York, New York. I was selling popcorn and clearing trash from the seats. And then he went to work at H & M.
Sebastian has an unusual approach to finding a job: he often goes to auditions not so much to get a role but to improve relations with the director. From the very beginning, he tried to “become familiar” with eminent artists, so that in new paintings they would immediately call him. It was through this persistence that Sebastian was able to play so many diverse roles.
He has a personal list of directors that he would especially like to work with – Quentin Tarantino and Martin Scorsese.
From Romania to Austria and the USA
It would be more correct to call him “Sebastian”, in the European manner, because he was born in Romania, but the spelling “Sebastian Stan” is more common. The actor’s biography began in the city of Constanta on August 13, 1982. Sebastian’s early childhood passed there. But soon the actor’s mother was invited to work in Vienna (she is a musician-pianist), and Stan moved to Austria for four years. And at the age of 12 – thanks to his mother’s marriage – he found himself in the United States. His stepfather became the director of a private school, and he took the new family to Rockland County (New York).
Sebastian quickly settled into a new place and became a star of the school’s amateur theater, he played in the production of “Cyrano de Bergerac” based on the play by Rostand, the performances “Harvey”, “Western History”, “Little Shop of Horrors”. He spent his vacations in a camp for young talents and there he also went on stage with pleasure: “I am not one of those who do not care how others react to them, I always wanted to be liked. I dreamed of fame, pondering what they think of me and how they treat me. I believe that self-esteem does not harm, it is one of the forms of self-confidence.”
So it’s quite understandable why Stan wanted to become an actor – is there an even more public profession? He studied programs at several universities, applied to some, and entered the Rutgers University of the Arts (New Brunswick, NJ). In 2005, having received a bachelor’s degree, the aspiring actor went on a one-year internship in London – to the famous brainchild of Shakespeare, the Globe Theater.
