“Death on the Nile”
Premiere Date: September 17
Another adaptation of Agatha Christie’s novel, Death on the Nile, will be released. The director of the film is Kenneth Branagh, in 2017 he filmed Murder on the Orient Express, which received not very good criticism (in the top of the grievances – historical inaccuracy, and indeed the change in key details of the novel). Bran also shot Thor, played the Russian oligarch Andrei Sator in Argument, and starred in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Operation Valkyrie, and Dunkirk. In “Death on the Nile”, in addition to Kenneth Branagh himself, Gal Gadot and Armie Hammer are also cast.
The plot completely coincides with the novel by Agatha Christie – Hercule Poirot will investigate a murder aboard a cruise ship following the Nile. Whether in the end, the film will differ from the book – we’ll find out in the fall.
